The chocolate boy was seen in a song of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s film Kuch Naa Kaho (2003). His name is Ajaz Khan who appeared in only one song but Ekta Kapoor liked him and she cast him as the lead actor in her serial ‘Kaavyanjali’ (2005).
Born on 28 August 1975 in a Muslim family in Hyderabad, Ejaz Khan started his acting career as an actor with the film Takshak (1999). Ejaz Khan told in many of his interviews that he has been struggling since childhood.
When Ejaz Khan was 3 years old, his parents got separated. Ejaz lived with his father but in 1991 his mother passed away due to which Ejaz Khan was very disturbed. After his mother’s death, Ejaz met his sisters and then started living in Mumbai.
Ejaz Khan wanted to become an actor from the beginning but his father made him study engineering and he also has a degree in civil engineering. Ejaz got a chance to work in films but he wanted to work as a lead actor in which he was not successful.
According to Ejaz Khan, in the initial days he got work but only small roles due to which he faced a lot of problems. But he did not give up, the actor accepted that there was a time when he did not even have money to eat two meals a day. Once he even had to sleep at the station.
After a long struggle, Ekta Kapoor offered Ejaz Khan the role of Kavya in a serial named ‘Kavyanjali’ (2005). This was a love story in which Anita Hasanandani was seen opposite him. With this show, Ejaz became famous as ‘Kavya’ in every household.
Ejaz Khan later did one or two more serials of Ekta Kapoor. Ejaz has worked in Bollywood films like ‘Zila Ghaziabad’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Jawan’, ‘Shorgul’. Ejaz also appeared in ‘Bigg Boss 14’ where he was paired with actress Pavitra Punia but now they have separated.
Apart from acting in films and TV serials, Ejaz also does voice dubbing. He has dubbed many South Telugu and Tamil films in Hindi, the latest example of which is the film ‘Leo’ (2023). Ejaz is also a dubbing artist, actor and also has a rough and tough body.
